Sewing 101 w/ Jenni Wilkinson 4/9, 16, 23, 30 5/7 5:30 - 8:00
Do you want to learn basic sewing skills? Sewing 101 spans 5 classes and will teach you the necessary skills to create 5 beginner sewing projects. We will learn the basics of needles, thread, materials, notions, cutting and yardage. We will learn how to cut out our projects, sew straight seams, finish edges with zig zag stitches, sew french seams, and more. You will complete a toiletry or tool wrap, a pillowcase, a tote bag, a reversible apron, and envelope pillow cover, and a fabric basket. Come join us for some fun, learn new sewing skills, and gain the confidence you need to create these beginnerprojects in class and work independently at home.
Students need to bring their own sewing machines in good working order.
Class will be held at the BERNINA World of Sewing Studio, 5218 Holly Ridge Drive. Just up the hill from the store. No refunds if cancelled within 7 days of the class.
