TU Sophomore Year builds upon last year' s introduction to the Studio 180 tools.  During the first half of the course, we will be utilizing new technique sheets to stretch your knowledge of the many units and blocks you can make with Studio 180 Tools. In addition, I will be introducing you to 3 new tools: Hunter Star; Shaded Nine Patch; and one the class will vote on.

The second half of the year is The School of Design.  This is significantly different from the first half' s focus on Tools and techniques. This half of the year provides a step-by-step process enabling each of you to design your own quilt top.  

The really interesting part is that you can incorporate embroidery, applique, fabric painting, collage, etc. into your center blocks.  More to follow….

Must be familiar with Studio 180 Fundamental Tools.  Aside from the 3 new tools, I will be reviewing the tools you learned in Freshman Year
