Astrid Quilt w/Joanne Shropshire - August 12, 2026, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm MURRELLS INLET

The "Astrid"   quilt looks like a lot of work but it goes pretty fast. The pattern calls for the Stripology ruler by GE Designs but it can be made using some regular rulers you may have.

"I've been having fun playing with the Stripology ruler. You can make this quilt by using jelly roll strips, fat quarters or like my sample from my Halloween scrap bin. I do suggest you get the point trimmers; it helps a lot when putting the blocks together. I' m looking forward to seeing what everyone picks for their fabric choice. I think it would work well with Christmas fabrics with a dark green in place of black."  -Joanne
