102-Beginning Sewing Class, Apr 9,16,23,30, 5:30 pm-8:00 pm, Amy Jones

For this class, students should be comfortable with their sewing machine, including being able to use appropriate tension, seam width, seam length, reverse, and sewing straight, 1/4” seams. We will learn to sew in a zipper in two ways, make a small zippered pouch, a large, lined, zipper tote, quilt a piece of fabric, learn to read a pattern, and make a pair of pants or shorts. Students need to bring their own sewing machines in good working order. Class will be held at the BERNINA World of Sewing Studio, 5218 Holly Ridge Drive. Just up the hill from the store. No refunds if cancelled within 7 days of the class.
