Pieces and Wholeness w/Rebecca - March 28, 2026 10:30 am - 4:30 pm WILMINGTON

I have found that our society expects, praises and rewards corners that meet.  The same is true for quilting.  You can spot a quilter, because she will be the one right up close, examining every one of those edges.  Crazy quilting helped me learn what can result when I free myself from that restraint.  Whether you call it crazy, scrap or crumb, this technique has taught me a tremendous amount about my head, heart and soul.

Join us for a class that will be equal parts creative and introspective and improvisational.  We will spend the morning exploring the technique and producing several pieces of created fabric (and maybe a bit of insight).  We' ll take a break for lunch (bring your own or step out to one of the nearby restaurants.  The studio will stay open for those that haven' t had enough fun!)  In the afternoon we will design how those created pieces might fit into a whole…or not.  

While you may not leave with a finished product, I' m hopeful that you will have a glimpse of wholeness.
