Irish Chain Table Runner: Beginner Quilting w/Cristy - March 7, 2026 10:00 am - 4:00 pm WILMINGTON

Have you always wanted to learn to quilt but weren' t sure where to

start? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect introduction! We' ll

create a classic Irish Chain table runner (approximately 15"  x

38" ) while learning the foundations of quilting in a relaxed,

supportive environment.

This class focuses on accurate cutting and consistent sewing, two

skills that make every quilting project more successful. To keep

things moving and stress-free, we' ll use precut fabrics, but

students are welcome to bring yardage instead. If using yardage, all

cutting will be done at the beginning of class before we move into

sewing.

You' ll learn how to:

• Cut fabric accurately and safely

• Sew a consistent 1⁄4"  seam

• Assemble a traditional Irish Chain design with confidence

By the end of class, you' ll have a completed table runner top and

the skills to tackle future quilting projects with confidence.
